Home Depot is a great company to work for simply because they want you to grow. They don’t want you to be stuck at one position. So if you want to further your career at The Home Depot, this is the place to be.
They didn't do a call from the store. I was pretty happy with it, but since they used contractors, you'd think they'd call up and ask how everything went. They moved the furniture and they were really careful moving the furniture. It was snowing a little that day, so they were really respectful of moving the furniture and how they handle everything. They totally just did the job. They didn't chit chat or anything.

Oh what makes me good at my job is that I’m a people person. I just generally enjoy being around folks.
They used a sub-contractor to do the installation and those guys did a great job as well. In fact, I had them come back on their own to do some work for me. They were competent and they were careful in their ordering. My front door has been famous. We had a little bit of a delivery issue.
What days are Home Depot - Tigard open?
I will never have a job done from Home Depot again. Since then I have been in to Home Depot a few times and left and went to Lowes. The greeter will tell you where to go for things and help in the store but then you are on your own.It is no longer a place I will do business with. It has been a few years now and I am not sure the exact date the carpet was installed, but it has been within 3 -5 years.I have an account there so they can look it up. The salesperson was nice but very pushy. I felt like I didn't have time to think.
Their price and quality of the work were good. I don't know if there was anything in particular that stood out about them. They were very efficient and their prices are generally reasonable.
What services does Home Depot - Tigard offer?
A couple, husband and wife maybe? They brought a broken vacuum , duct taped together, that didn't work well and planned to leave me with the job of vacuuming up all the crud left. I asked them to clean up, they tried but were not professional in their job and tools.
Lots of trucks coming inbound to unload and then we are loading trucks to go to stores, so there is a lot of forklift traffic. The key word in that title is general, so wherever your business needs you, that’s where we’re going to shift you. From the moment you walk through these doors, you start feeling welcomed.
Location & Hours
401K has been very helpful to me. I have never had a 401K on any job I’ve ever had and this one was the first. They are taking care of me and I thank them for that every day.
Additional information will be provided during the application process. I feel confident to maybe one day open my own small business. A 401k is an amazing program we have here. It’s challenging, but that’s a good thing if that makes sense, because there’s a lot going on.
